Melissa Hinsperger
Melissa has been working in the accounting industry since 2013 and started Accounting North with her husband, Michael, in January 2022. She has enjoyed an interesting and varied career including controllership positions, college teaching of accounting, and entrepreneurial consulting.
Currently, as senior accountant at Accounting North, she assists clients with year end financials, overall and periodic financial review, consulting with large projects, onboarding of new accounts, and day to day questions. Her experience allows her to provide clients with knowledgeable solutions and recommendations.
She thrives by helping others solve problems that seem unsolvable and is enthusiastic about empowering business owners to feel peaceful and secure doing what they do best.
Michael Hinsperger
Michael is a bookkeeper, accounting consultant and QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Before entering the accounting field, Mike spent a decade working in manufacturing as a Material Resource Planner, where he worked extensively in inventory control and operations management. It was during these years that he developed a keen appreciation for data and the power it has to inform all aspects of operations. Mike has taken those insights and applied them to the world of accounting by exploring new ways that the financial data of a business can help owners and operators run their operation.
Mike is enthusiastic about solving clients’ problems. He is attentive to detail and always looking for ways to improve systems and procedures for greater efficiency and ease.
Steve Yoon
Steve is an accomplished accounting professional with a diverse background and a dedication to efficiency.
He started his career as an engineer, and spent five years working as a project coordinator for the construction of oil and gas platforms. In this role, he refined his skills in data analysis, project management, and reporting. He also cultivated his coding skills to help him perform various tasks more efficiently and accurately.
In 2017, Steve transitioned into the field of accounting and has been applying the same principles to his daily work. During his three-year tenure at MNP as a bookkeeper, he developed automated processes using various programs to improve the efficiency and accuracy of day-to-day tasks. Now, at Accounting North, he continues to use his skills to solve clients’ problems as efficiently and smoothly as possible. He is enthusiastic about modernizing systems and reducing data entry error through the use of technology. He is a forward thinking bookkeeper and is ready to solve clients’ problems as quickly and accurately as possible so they can have the data they need for decision making in real-time.
Joy Kim
Joy is a skilled accounting professional with a strong background in cost management and financial oversight.
After earning her Business Administration degree, she began her career as a cost coordinator at Ocean Engineering Project Team, where she managed company invoices, vendor payments, and contract pricing while identifying cost-saving opportunities. Her expertise in year-end financial processes, including tax preparation, enhanced her financial management skills.
Now, as a Bookkeeper at Accounting North, she supports clients with month end financials, periodic financial data recording, new account onboarding, and day-to-day inquiries.
Neeti Bhavsar
Neeti is a skilled Bookkeeper with over seven years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting. She helps businesses keep their finances organized, accurate, and efficient.
With a strong eye for detail, Neeti specializes in managing accounts, and improving processes to enhance efficiency. With a background in commerce and law, she provides valuable financial insights that support business growth.
